ARC - The Assassin's Saint

Updated: Jul 19

That's right! We have a release date of October 4th, 2025 and a book being actively uploaded across retailers as we speak.

In the meantime, it's now the perfect moment to see who would like to be first in line to read AND review Book 3 in the Traibon Family Saga in the Dante's Ascension series arc.

The Blurb

Terahime is frozen over for winter, and time seems to slow as Dante and John face the outcomes of their escape from Captiva City.

The king has been assassinated, Red Wine is missing, and Captiva City is on lockdown. Fallen Arbor has placed bounties out for their heads, and John is clinging to life. A guilt-stricken Dante cares for John while their debts stack ever higher. Nothing seems to ease the priest's pain.

When the Guild calls Dante into action, he's caught between revenge and a strange need to gain experience. Armed with a soul weapon, he unravels both past and present. As he becomes stronger, something more monstrous grows inside him.

Grandemere changes as Fallen Arbor's presence is now publicly known. Talks of peace between The House and The Tower bring a truce to the Civil War. The people are talking more than ever. Rumors of Viceroy Falco's demise by the Blood Prince and his priest have reached even Terahime.

As the Ice Breaking Ceremony nears to ring in the start of spring, the Blood Exchange is seeking the next Blood Champion of Terahime to compete in the Scarlett Isles. Will Dante choose to join the final rounds?

John struggles with his recovery. A simple glance in the mirror reveals his gaunt and weathered body. Against all odds, he is determined to live up to the Saint's Mark across his back. He wants to become a beacon of hope for Grandemere. Complicated confessions jeopardize their relationship, altering what bloodlust truly means for both star-crossed lovers. Is it an addiction, a need, or even a curse of their own making? Can Dante and John survive the secrets and fight this battle together?

What is an ARC?

An ARC, or Advance Review/Reader Copy, is a chance to read a book early in exchange for feedback and review. This process is essential for identifying any red flags or mistakes. More importantly, it prepares for the book's launch, helping readers decide if this will be the read they expect. Without ARCs, many book launches wouldn't find success. Digital copies are the most common type of ARC provided to readers.

Expectations

As a volunteer reader and reviewer, you will be expected to provide links to three reviews online. These can be on retail sites, GoodReads, blogs, social media, or more. Reviews can be written or in video format. Be sure to indicate spoiler alerts accordingly, and have fun with this! They don't have to be extensive summaries but should be HONEST reviews of your thoughts.

What's in it for me?

Readers who participate will not only get a first, early look at the book, but they will also receive coupons to order any of the Traibon Family Saga titles at a large discount for participating. Once your review is completed and posted, expect a personalized thank you from the author and additional opportunities. You should also be prepared for me to share, shout out, and use snippets of your reviews in promotional graphics. They may even end up on the back of the book! You will be getting a free digital copy of the book months/weeks/days before its release.
