OVERVIEW
If you need inspiration about chasing after a dream, this book may help. It has an interesting narrative that grabbing up the Audiobook is fantastic to listen to. Life circles around in a funny way in real life, and I have to admit, the boy’s journey does exactly this. Every place, person, event all serves a purpose in character growth and plot, even when it’s hard to see at first. It reminds me of something my grandmother used to say, “life takes you where you need to be, not where you want to go” and it does exactly this for its character. Amazing quotes throughout this piece, my favorite being: “It’s not what enters men’s mouth that is evil,” said the alchemist. “It’s what comes out of their mouths that is.”
