Snowed In with a Bigfoot, a Yeti, & a Werewolf

by Honey Cummings

The room was brightly lit as Tenzin gently placed her back on her feet. Tiles underfoot were cold, but not as freezing as the snow-covered ground outside. Wilma bit her lip. They stood in what looked like a locker room with showers just beyond the next threshold. It was nice, something she imagined would be on par to a Swedish spa or Japanese hot spring. As far as she knew, there may be a hot tub or hot spring on the property. A flash of Tenzin’s grotto came to mind and she was starting to wish she had stayed put.

He was right, maybe hiding away was a better option.

A shiver rattled her, feeling cold in the aftermath of her lustful event. She had left her clothes at one of the many tables that now had patrons guzzling beer and eating cheese sticks talking about how she got bent over, pounded, and spanked by a former B.O.O.T. elder on the fucking stump. Pinching her nose, her life spiraled out of control.

If you'd asked me last week this is where I would find myself, I'd have asked what did you smoke or snort up your nose. But nope. Nope. Here I am. Gang banged on a stump, in front of a cheering VFW lodge for cryptids.

“Who am I anymore,” she muttered to herself.

“You’re you,” Boone announced, laying Skye on a bench as she started to come to, mumbling incoherently. “But let’s clean up. There are complimentary robes on hand at least. Well, until we find your clothes.”

“Whoa whoa whoa.” Mille had been following hot on their heels. “Where did your clothes go, Wilma?”

“At someone’s table?” She cringed at the thought of someone sitting or stepping or dropping nacho crumbs on them.

Lucan sighed, running a hand through his long red hair. “I’ll go get them.” He sniffed the air. “They should still be there somewhere. I can smell them from here.”

“Please and thank you.” Wilma could feel her exhaustion settling onto her shoulders.

“Did he just sniff the air like a dog?” Mille furrowed her brow, mouthing to Wilma “what the fuck” as she watched Lucan sniff the air once more.

“Don’t call me a dog.” Lucan was offended as he growled at her with golden eyes bright. “Stay here. I’ll be back soon with your clothes, moonshine.” He winked at Wilma.

Lucan left out the door, but everyone else took a moment of silence. There had been so much unfolding it was nice to breathe and let thoughts slow and settle. Enjoy the newfound quiet and calm (especially with Lucan gone). Boone walked over rubbing her back, the motion of it grounding her and giving a sense of security she didn’t even know she wanted. Needed. She leaned into him and he made that happy grunt she had strangely missed.

“He’s fucking weird and ridiculously attractive. Did he just call you moonshine? That’s hot.” Mille was cleaning her glasses again as she turned back, confident Lucan was out of earshot (which wasn’t accurate since he was a werewolf and Wilma could feel that toothy grin from where she stood). “You pick the strange ones every time, Wilma.”

“He picked me,” Wilma drawled.

“MOTHERFUCKER!” Skye sat up, gasping like she was coming up for air.

Her outburst had sent Wilma hugging onto Boone and Mille stumbling back cursing.

“Where is he?” Skye demanded before adding her declaration of, “I’m going to kill him this time! I’m really going to rip those ears off his head and every whisker from his face!”

“He went that way,” Tenzin offered, pointing to the exit.

“When I get my paws on that mutt…” Skye growled through clenched teeth as she left.

“Huh.” Mille marveled over the speed of the woman’s recovery. “She did come to after a while. Does she pass out like that a lot?”

Boone scratched his beard. “You could say that. Under the right circumstances of course.”

Another long silence filled the room once more. Mille looked at Wilma and her two naked companions with an arched brow. She was expecting them to say or do something, but honestly Wilma didn’t want to bring up the fact she had been busy fucking monsters since she last spoke with Mille over the phone. Worse, she couldn’t possibly know that her bashful, vanilla friend found herself with magical tattoos as a result of her caving to the whims of a rebound long overdue. Besides, she already watched her have an orgy outside on a fucking, well, the fucking tree stump with a whole cheering squad of locals watching.

Oh no. Do they record these things? I mean, with it being like a sporting event and having to do a victory lap there’s no way–

Tenzin’s hand landed heavy on Wilma’s shoulder as he cleared his throat, breaking her from her panicked thoughts. He had watched her expression break, brow furrowed, her fists clenched. She had barely known these monsters yet they were quick to notice every little moment and address her needs without a word, without her even looking their way or asking it of them.

I’ve been in some shitty relationships. Maybe this whole time the legends were wrong about monsters.

“Excuse me, Mille was it?” Tenzin’s business tone was back in action yet it made Wilma’s breath hitch. “Do you mind sitting here and waiting for her clothes while we wash up?”

Mille locked eyes with Wilma with that knowing grin again. “Washing up together? All three of you?”

Boone’s hand paused against Wilma’s back. “Why not? I think we’re past the seeing each other naked part of this as you very well saw.”

A giggle erupted from Mille adding to Wilma’s dread. “Have fun! Don’t let me stop you!”

“Look, it’s not like that!” Wilma blurted, face red.

Boone pushed her along and Tenzin pulled her towards the shower. Mille cackled; howling over the new side of her friend. After what she had witnessed happening at the center of a crowded lodge, she was betting on Wilma losing to lust in the seclusion of the shower area. Mille could still hear Wilma squabbling, refuting what would be unfolding in the privacy of what lay beyond. Tenzin simply shushed her and they were out of view in no time. Boone lingered for a moment as if debating whether to follow Lucan or Wilma. Snorting, he started for the shower before pausing to turn back to Mille to address one last matter.

“Oh, Wilma might not admit it, but it’s definitely like that,” Boone teased before catching up to his companions in the shower.

Tenzin had tugged Wilma along, the blanket abandoned as they entered the first stall. He spun her, backing her against the shower wall. She squealed as cold tiles touched her skin, his palms flat on the wall on either side of her. Tenzin leaned in, his blue eyes locking with hers. A shiver rattled through her as her skin pimpled. The familiar smell of peaches hit her nose as his nostrils flared. Now they both knew when the other found themselves excited, aroused for better or worse. It was a deliciously dangerous tell that Wilma wondered how on earth the three of them stopped themselves from ravaging her, including in this moment.

“We need to talk.” His words struck her, pulling her from her salacious thoughts. “About the prophecy,” he reminded her.

Now her hair stood on end for all the wrong reasons. “Prophecy,” she echoed bluntly. “What is this? Some kind of fated mate smut novel?” She laughed in disbelief, searching his face for some kind of hope he was joking. “Tenzin, you’re not serious?”

“Didn’t you hear them out there?” A scowl ruined the sharp features of his face.

Shit, he is serious!

“They meant that?” Wilma’s eyes bulged. “Queen of Three of what exactly?” She pushed her hands against his chest but he didn’t move. “And you knew! You all fucking knew and said nothing!”

“We weren’t sure,” corrected Boone from behind Tenzin where he leaned against the wall, blocking her only exit. “Neither of us realized Lucan was an alpha king. At most, I knew he had alpha potential and that’s what drove him to be a lone wolf in the first place.”

Tenzin dragged a hand over his face. “But to think he was the lost alpha king of the red wolf nation, third son of the Roodblud Crown, and now I know why he never gave me his fucking last name.”

“Look, it’s common for packless wolves to have no last name,” Boone reassured as if to soften Tenzin’s frustration. “I didn’t know either. You would think an elder–”

“Elder,” drawled Tenzin as he shot a look over his shoulder so heated Boone winced. “Speaking of that, you want to explain yourself, old timer?”

“Don’t be so harsh, I’m old, but you don’t have to remind me.” Boone was stoic as ever as his gaze slid to Wilma. “Why don’t we let her shower while we sort this out elsewhere.”

Tenzin took one step away from Wilma before she grabbed his wrist with both hands. “Oh no you don’t. The two of you are going to talk right here and now,” she demanded. “I want to know what kind of mess I’m caught up in.”

Boone’s brow rose high. “Yes ma’am.”

Scoffing, Tenzin reached behind her and cranked the shower on full blast. Icy streams of water shot down on her. Screaming, she let go of him and retreated to the safety of where Boone stood. His body heat was her salvation as she clung to him with her teeth chattering. Tenzin stood under the cold water, unphased. In this moment, he was every bit of the title of Ice King with the cold, jealous glare he cut across them both. He didn’t smirk, no, but that stern expression picked her apart like it had done the first time she met him in his cabin.

“So why is it a big deal to you that Boone’s an elder?” Wilma held her arms, rubbing them for heat. “I don’t understand why that–”

“It upsets me because I was under the impression I won the land fair and square.” Tenzin’s voice was full of anger as he locked eyes with Boone. “Instead, it means the elder gave up the land, against the majority vote of the locals, and retired as a result knowing he would ruffle feathers when he executed his power to not only overthrow the vote, but divvy out the land how he saw fit.” Tenzin was very articulate as Boone cast a guilty look to the floor, rubbing his jaw. “In short, he’s lived here for over a millennium, probably longer than that, and owns the land and most of the region.”

“I wouldn’t go that far. I’ve given most of it to other people these days. Time to modernize where needed.” Boone sighed, leading Wilma to the now warm water of the shower. “Look, they needed work and a connection to humans out here, and at the time, we had nothing but the B.O.O.T. lodge which I don’t count.”

“So you tricked me into building the ski lodge where you wanted it to be,” pressed Tenzin, stepping out of the way to make way for Wilma.

Wilma dipped under the heated waterfall and sighed. “Wait, why does it matter? You got the ski lodge out of the deal and Boone achieved his own goal. Win-win, right?” She peeked an eye at Tenzin to see his jaw twitch. “Where did you want to build it then?”

Tenzin blinked. “Well…”

“Well?” echoed Boone crossing his arms as he leaned on the shower wall next to Wilma.

“I would have considered … elsewhere, I think.” Tenzin sounded caught off guard.

Stifling a giggle, she reached beyond Tenzin's waist and its amazing Adonis belt for the complimentary shampoo+conditioner. “That’s not very convincing, Tenzin.”

Pinching his nose in defeat, Tenzin confessed, “Fine. It’s exactly where I wanted to build it. I just…” Huffing, Tenzin’s arm shot across the way, Wilma leaning back in fear of smacking her face into the muscled appendage as he poked a finger into Boone’s chest. “You should have told me the truth. Instead, you let me assume you got fired over it after the drunken wrestling match.”

The smell of peaches erupted. Wilma covered her face.

“Really?” Boone chuckled.

Tenzin snorted. “If that’s what you're into…” He arched a brow and dipped his eyes over her.

“Nope. Nope.” She dove her head into the water trying to not acknowledge how her newly found monster pheromones had betrayed her. “I don’t want to talk about it!”

“Aw, I mean, I’m not against another wrestling match.” Boone shrugged, grinning ear to ear.

“And no cheating,” warned Tenzin.

“I didn’t cheat,” scoffed Boone.

Wilma peered up at him, realizing he broke eye contact. “Oh you did. That’s a guilty look if I ever saw one.”

“Says the woman who wants to see her kings wrestle naked,” whispered Tenzin in her ear, sending a different kind of goosebumps across her skin as the peaches sweetened the air.

Can someone die from overstimulation of arousal? I should Google that.
